A view of L’Umbracle (loosely translated as shade house), another stunning example of the architecture at The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. L’Umbracle has 55 fixed arches and 54 floating arches on which there are growing plants to provide shade. It houses spectacular gardens and an exhibition zone and until 1st November this year it’s holding Europe’s largest ever exhibition of robotic dinosaurs (you can see the T Rex lurking under the first few arches).
